There seems to be endless argument and debate over what constitutes ‘healthy food’ the search for the ONE TRUE DIET that will enable you to live a long and vibrant life?
Should you go low carb or low fat?
Is it Plant-based or carnivore?
While there are plenty of people who get great results from these approaches, there are even more who ‘fall off the wagon’ and don’t get the advertised results over the long term!
Then we look at the diets of people from a particular place or times in history and hold them up as the way we all should be eating (e.g. the Kitavans in Papua New Guinea, Okinawans in Japan, Hunter-Gatherers in Africa, the Eskimos, or the Seventh Day Adventists in Loma Linda).
But once again, all these healthy long-lived people seem to be using vastly different dietary approaches!
Sadly, the growing obesity and diabetes epidemics demonstrate that we are doing something wrong.
